Written confirmations are mailed to you via first class mail, on the business day following a transaction.

Easy to Read Statements
Active accounts receive statements monthly. Inactive accounts with equity receive statements quarterly.

Additional Account Insurance
Accounts are safeguarded through the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), with protection of up to $500,000 of which $100,000 may be for cash balances. In addition, Our clearing firm, Penson Financial Services, Inc., has arranged supplemental account protection through Customer Asset Protection Company (CAPCO), a licensed Vermont insurer which provides "Excess SIPC" protection of Full Net Equity of Securities and Cash, with no limitation on aggregate firm or per customer coverage. The additional securities and cash protection is of the same type and nature as provided by SIPC, but at a higher limit. Coverage is provided for all JH Darbie & Co customer accounts that are cleared through Ridge Clearing.

No Minimum Account Size
Unlike other firms, JH Darbie does not require any minimum amount to establish an account; However, you do need equity or funds in your account to begin trading.

Transferring an Account
If you want to transfer your existing brokerage account from another brokerage firm, just sign the transfer form where indicated. Enclose a copy of your most recent statement from your current brokerage firm and return it to us. We will take it from there. If you have any questions regarding transfers, your account representative will assist you.
